FAQ - Bluewater Flag Football Spring Season




1. What are the age divisions and practice times?

- 2019/18/17 Division: 5:00pm-6:30pm

- 2016/15 Division: 5:00pm-7:00pm

- 2014/13 Division: 5:00pm-7:00pm

- 2012/11 Division: 6:30pm-8:30pm

- 2010/09 Division: 6:30pm-8:30pm


2. Where are the events held?

All events will take place at Western Research Park, except for uniform pickup, which will be at Jersey Pick up at Norm Perry from 4:30pm - 6:00pm in the Back Parking Lot.


3. Are there any upcoming special events?

- We will be participating in the Canada Parade on July 1st (more details to follow).

- There will be a Hamilton Ti-Cats Game this season (date and time to be announced).

- Our littles will be playing at the Pacer Lacrosse Jr B halftime (date to be determined).

- We will have a Travel Team for U10, U12, and U14, competing in the NFL Flag Football Canadian Regional Tournament on June 29, 2024, at Mc Master University in Hamilton.

Tryouts will be announced mid-season.


4. What equipment is needed for the season?

Minimal equipment is required, including pocketless shorts or pants, team jersey (provided by us), flags (provided by us), cleats or running shoes, mouthguard, and optional gloves.


5. What are the important dates for the season?

- Skills and Drills Session: April 8th

- Combine: April 15th

- Season starts: April 22nd

- The season runs from April 8th to June 24th.


6. What if there is inclement weather?

We are a rain or shine league. In the event of inclement weather, please check our website or social media channels for updates on cancellations or rescheduling of events.
