Local Flag Football League Owner and Coach Named Head Coach for Team Ontario U14 Women’s Flag Football

In a major milestone for the local sports community, Kate Brandon, owner-operator and coach of the Bluewater Flag Football League, has been selected as the head coach for Team Ontario’s U14 Women’s Flag Football team. This announcement follows her impressive work as co-head coach last year, where she helped lead the team to a remarkable 3rd place finish on the national stage.

Brandon, a passionate advocate for youth sports and a key figure in the Bluewater Flag Football League, is thrilled about the opportunity to take the helm this year. "I’m so excited for this opportunity to lead the U14 women’s team," said Brandon. "Last year was an incredible experience, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished together. This year, I’m ready to put in even more work and help Ontario rise to the top!"

Her leadership and dedication to the sport have not gone unnoticed, both locally and provincially. As a coach deeply involved in the development of flag football in the community, Brandon has played an instrumental role in building up the local league, inspiring young athletes, and fostering a love for the game.
